Proactive Therapy Innovations (PTI) is happy to announce it will be holding its sixth Summer workshop in Ketchikan, Alaska. This workshop will be applicable to anyone in the helping professions, education, community organizations, business management, human resources and vocational rehabilitation. This includes special needs assessment. Mr. Charles Caron, an Assessment Privileged LPC, has administered and/or interpreted over 10,000 individual comprehensive evaluations. The workshop covers designing and administering a life plan-generating career assessment and counseling program. You will leave this training with the information you need to design a program specific to your needs or evaluate the one you presently use. A second offering of this workshop is the availability to receive a career assessment with counseling and systematic career exploration. You will have a career plan when you leave!
We plan our workshops to be small, interactive and consultative in format. We always tailor our presentations to be in line with the specific needs of our audience. Our workshops are designed to be efficient, effective, personal, and meaningful. Come casual, dress comfortable, bring your needs and desires, and we will endeavor to exceed your expectations. This is not your usual PowerPoint sleeper session! This is a high energy, individualized consultation type workshop.
CEU’s are available upon arrangement. As this workshop is related to your career, it is probably TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Usually, you have six days of full tax deduction if you fly in for this workshop (Friday-Wednesday). Call us for details.
We have utilized the resources of Ketchikan Alaska since 1995 for many of our workshops, as Ketchikan is AWESOME! It is the perfect get-away destination with all the conveniences as well as all the wild Alaska you could want. We are happy to answer any and all questions to make this the workshop of a lifetime.
Please come early and stay after the workshop. Use this as your opportunity to visit Alaska, Salmon fish, see a glacier, shop Creek Street, or just sit on the side of the ocean and watch the sun go down. It is Alaska, just as peaceful or wild as you desire. We offer our workshop on Tuesdays to facilitate our fly-in guests. Departing on Friday offers best airline prices for the “over the weekend” rates, and a chance to settle in and tourist around. While full tax deductible days end on Wednesday, you should seriously consider staying a couple extra days while you are here. While not deductible, these extra days are well worth the cost as the recreation benefits will support your career by increasing your resistance to “burn-out”.
